Chief Information Officer (CIO) Council
The CIO Council is a working technical advisory committee organized to provide advice and support for statewide information technology issues. It also serves as a forum for reviewing information technology subjects that have common or universal interest for the several executive branch agencies. The Council advises the Arizona Strategic Enterprise Technology (ASET) office on technical standards as well as reporting progress on specific projects. ASET in turn, uses the meeting for collaborating across the state, communicating status on its projects and issues of concern. Council Task Teams may be periodically organized to explore technical subjects and come up with recommendations for the State CIO.
